Sabiha Bastide

Sabiha Bastide is a international Latin dance teacher and choreographer from Paris, France. Her general and artistic training gave her a Certification of the Salsabor School (2014) as a dancer and teacher of Latin and Afro-Caribbean dance styles. She has also trained as a Kizomba Instructor and studied by taking private lessons in Dominican Bachata, body movement techniques and Salsa in-line.
In 2013 she was the winner of the Bachata contest King of Bachata in the category of troupe and she also won the Bachata contest Latin Xfactor in the Couple category.
Sabiha has worked as a professional dancer since 2014 until today. She is an instructor of Dominican Bachata at Paris Salsa Academie and has run Workshops and Boot-camps in Paris as well as taught at many festivals.
As an artist in national and international festivals she has worked at the following: King of Bachata (Le Mans), Paris Bachata Festival, Marrakech Salsa Congress, Corazon Latino (Bordeaux), Fiesta Deluxe (Amsterdam), Frankfurt Festival, Berlin salsa Congres, Salsamania (Guadeloupe), Las Vegas Festival, Lebanon Festival, Salsa Splash ( Croatia), Bachata Paradies (Saarbrucken) and I love Bachata (Leuven).
Sabiha has also worked as a professional dancer in shows since 2014 until today in the styles of Kizomba, Semba, Salsa Fusion, Solo Bachata and Bachata Dominicana.
Sabiha belives ‘Music is the answer’. She is really looking forward to teaching and performing at the Byron Latin Fiesta. This will be her first time in Australia. Take advanatge of the opportunity and learn from this talented lady !
